Tammy Jones and several members of Basis Investment Group participated in the 4th Annual National Girlfriends Networking Day (“NGN Day”) on June 4, 2015 hosted by The New Agenda. Tammy Jones is a board member of The New Agenda, which is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of ALL women and girls by bringing about systemic change in the media, at the workplace, at school and at home. The New Agenda seeks to advance women into leadership roles, encourage women to have a voice, promote safety and awareness, and generate opportunity for women by addressing issues which unite us!
NGN Day seeks to promote awareness while educating the public about the importance of building strong network connections through the use of media releases, articles and video content. Each year, NGN Day features a panel of renowned and diverse women leaders discussing their personal experiences with taking risks and building connections that have ultimately led to amazing success. This panel is streamed to 50+ venues around the country, reaching hundreds of thousands of young and professional women at events hosted by corporations and women entrepreneurs. NGN Day embodies the “power of the network” and serves as a forum to remind woman – especially its target audience of Millennial and college women – that these connections are essential for women to advance into leadership.
