Tammy Jones attended the 11th Annual Emerging Manager and MWBE Conference in Albany, NY hosted by the New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) on February 16, 2018. Ms. Jones participated as a panelist on the “Real Estate – Asset Size Diversity” discussion, which included a panel of all women CEO’s and partners. The discussion focused on how these NYSCRF partners helped build an excellent emerging manager program and how their success has provided other opportunities for their firms.
The conference offers investment managers an opportunity to meet with staff from the New York State Common Retirement Fund and program partners to learn how the Common Retirement Fund selects investment partners, areas the fund targets to generate attractive returns, and how the fund constructs a well-balanced portfolio.
