Tammy K. Jones, President of Basis Investment Group, LLC was a panelist at the 44th Annual H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference at Harvard University. The theme of this year’s conference was Transcend: Redefining Expectations, providing a forum for attendees to take on issues such as: What is the African-American business community’s response to social injustice? Where do African-Americans fit in to the ever expanding definition of diversity? Ms. Jones was one of four Founders/CEOs of leading alternative investment organizations chosen to sit on a panel entitled Changing the Face of Alternative Investments, which explored the growth of African-Americans in Hedge Fund, Private Equity, and Real Estate fund management.
